trust in me, in all you do.

I adore watches, they are so classic. I've always had a slight infatuation with them, they can totally mix up an outfit, add that something special. Plus they last forever, something to be passed on and on.

For my 21st and my parents are looking to buy one- here are the top contenders..

Although i love the Michael Kors, my heart belongs to Marc.

you thoughts?

Kate Moss and Topshop break up.

Okay, so not quite as dramatic. But it has been announced today that Moss is ending her 'design partnership' with Topshop. Why, may you ask? Well after three years, the supermodel has decided she has other commitments and it is reported that she has at least made £3m from the ranges. Many questions spring to mind, did she even really put that much work and effort in to her collections? I mean most of the time she ripped designs from her own pieces - which were already high-end designer creations. Is it really that hard to whip out another collection when you can easily make another million? I don't know, maybe Kate has something more exciting in the pipeline, and not another perfume we hope. On the other hand, Mr Phillip Green (my all time hero) does he have a black up plan? There are thousands of head hungry fans, both celeb and designers that would probably kill for shot at designing for Topshop, we've already had Mr Kane and Mark Fast, but they were shadowed under the lime light of Kate. It begs the question of what will Topshop whip out of the bag next? With a successful make-up range already accomplished this year, who will they next get on board to front the TS brand? Alexa, Daisy? Nah, we need something fresh.

What are your thoughts on this? I personally don't really care that much for Kate's style so i'm a tad biased, so i'm not that fussed to see her over-priced, non-selling clothes. Maybe it was good for her to get out early, before it just got too same-y? But something must be brewing at the Topshop towers, one question, who next?

Kates A/W collection will stilll feature in October, but that will be her last collection, lets hope she's worked bloody hard, and it looks amazing..

You know the type, loud as a motor bike, but wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight.

It's nearly that time again that London Fashion Week springs upon us and we think, hold up - i swear it was only five minutes ago we were pondering over camel, sheepskin, capes and chunky knitts? I seriously can not get my head around the pressure and stress the designers must go through, from creating their collection to perfecting it to flawless precision on the runway. For those of that haven't been giving the luxury of tickets to the hottest seats in town (all about Giles S/S 11') there are plenty of other great fashion events happening in September, for starters there is Vogue's Fashion Night Out, but there are quite a few that have been kept under wraps..

Maybelline have announced that during LFW, they will be hosting their very own Pop-up Shop - exciting! The pop-up shop will be in the heart of Covent Garden, which will only be around for a limited time, from the 16th - 26th Sept. This is the perfect opportunity to have a good play with Maybelline products and bag a complimentary make over!

There are many events going on in-store..

At this exclusive get-together, top model agency Elite London and Marie Claire will be scouting for future beauty models - so come down on Sunday 19th and Sunday 26th September and find out if you could be the next big thing.

LEARN, LEARN, LEARN

my iphone is ALIVE.

your kisses, sweeter than honey and you know what, so is my money!

Luella Bartley: my all time favourite British designer.

Ever since Luella's company got stolen by the wicked recession, i've been biding out my time for her return. And here it is:

Top young fashion designer Luella Bartley celebrates English style and explains how to acquire it.

What makes English girls the coolest in the world? What is the English style which girls around the world try to emulate? In this book Luella Bartley - crowned Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2008 - sets out to capture what it is that makes English girls just a little bit special.

First up are the clothes – Luella investigates the combination of smart and scruffy, classic and street-style, which ensures that English girls are always at the cutting edge of fashion. Then there are the icons – the English girl knows that Kate Moss and The Duchess of Devonshire both have a place in the style pantheon.

Luella explains the style tribes vying for the English girl's allegiance, the social rituals she undergoes – from surfing in Cornwall to clubbing in Berlin – and the status symbols she marks herself out with. All this requires a lot of photographs, drawings, and, occasionally, diagrams.

But Luella's Guide to English Style isn't simply a book about fashion and style, it's a work of social anthropology – delivered with a wink and a kiss on the cheek. Luella describes the English girl's approach to love and shows how the English girl gets better with age.

With her background as London’s hippest designer and as an editor on Vogue and the London Evening Standard, Luella Bartley is brilliantly placed to map out English style and what it means for girls.

I've just pre-ordered mine, i cannot-fucking-wait.

Save Luella!

Just as long as you stand, stand by me.

they say jealousy is the greatest form of flattery.
but really.
its just laziness on their behalf.

My Internship at Stylist Magazine

Literally the last two weeks have flown by, i'm having the best time! I won't divulge into too many details but this is the best experience ever, the ladies are so nice, and busy all day long (which is a good thing in work exp. terms). There has been endless yummy foods being sent in by different PRs, to celebrating circulation results with office champers, running to Selfridges to pick up at £200 gift cards, transcribing interviews, brainstorming headlines and having a good say in features meetings. Plus last week i was sitting next to a free-lancer, who literally just left Elle, where she was senior features Editor - who was beyond lovely and gave me lots of tips!

click here to read it: Stylist and look for name in the mast head on pg. 51 ;)

Topshop Knickers

As well as working during the week at Stylist i have also been continuing working my part-time job on the weekend, but luckily i had this one off, which translated to major shopping trip avec my lovely friend Liz yesterday and today with the Grandmother.

There's some thing quite addictive about buying cute underwear, i mean, what if i happen to be run over? No really, what's the point in wearing beautiful clothes on the outside with a knackered pair of grey knicks on the inside - bleurgh! But the Topshop minis are just adorable, my underwear draw is basically an explosoin of silky, lacy, printed minis.

Clinique Sample Set

Leading on from post the other day, my free sample set came through the post in the week. The bottles are overly diddy, borderline cute. Technically i don't particularly need one, but they are handy for traveling or staying over night. I ordered one for myself and one for my mother.. (which is really for me too.)

Pearl Mittens

I bought these last year from H&M and was completely gutted when i lost one, but imagine my delight when i spotted them again this year.

Maybe a little early for mittens, but i mean a mitten, with pearls? I nearly peed myself in excitement.

H&M Pearl Mittens - (£7.99)

Label M Resurrection Dust

I have been meaning to purchase this, since my hair has grown it needs some va va voom! I picked this up from Tony and Guy, and i'm amazed at the results. I may pick up another one to keep in my handbag for during the day.

The bottle is full of white powder.

You tap abit out, then massage into the roots..

then tada!

Label M Resurrection Dust - Tony and Guy (£9.25)

Barry M's Raspberry Varnish

my new perfect winter colour!

Barry M Raspberry - Superdrug (£2.95)

Lush Times

I took my grandmother out shopping today so she could hit up Lush, after bagging her self a bottle of Grass shampoo, she set aside 'advising' me what to buy.

Bath melts in - Bath Time and You've Been Mango-d - £2.80 each

Ice Blue soap - smells so fresh and clean - £3.30

Doir Show Mascara

I finally gave in and bought the mascara, after 6 months of spending god knows how much trying to find a cheaper alternative, i gave in and bought what i know best for a disgusting £21.50.

and quite frankly i couldn't care less now!

the wonder product of all time:

Doir Show in Black Out - (£21.50)

Firstly my Grandmother spritzed me with the Lush perfumes -they are fucking fowl, unless you want to smell like a herbal car freshener then don't buy them please.

Secondly, do i look weird wearing black tights in the weather? I just don't know.

Thirdly, i swear to god, if that women sits next to me on my train this week, and i hear her snot all her gross bodily functions up her nose.. i will have to carry out a violent act.

Thats all.
